A Papua New Guinean woman is heading to the United States to do her masters degree in Political Science focusing on Women in Politics. Sarah Sarah Kaut-Nasengom is among six others who have won the US scholarships to study in the United States.
The Pacific Islands Leadership Program team has released the following statement.
"The Pacific Islands Leadership Program (PILP) team would like to recognize and celebrate Generation 6 alum from Papua New Guinea, Sarah Kaut-Nasengom, for her recent achievements. Sarah, a former research project officer with the National Research Institute (NRI), was the recipient of a Fulbright scholarship. She will pursue a Master of Arts in Political Science focusing on Women in Politics at Western Michigan University (WMU)''.
The Pacific Islands Leadership Fellowship Program is now open and inviting applications from the Pacific Region. Any interested students can apply for this program to study in selected universities in the United States of America. For more information, follow the link below.
