Wow! Three engineering institutions, three female presidents in New Zealand

Did you know that some of the largest engineering institutions in New Zealand have women leading them right now?

"We're there to hold the organisation accountable," says Rosalind Archer, president of Engineering New Zealand. Photo  NZ Herald

We're so proud to have had women at the helm of the YES - Young Engineers Society at Univeristy of Waikato  for the last four years, including past female presidents Kate Edwards, Ashleigh Dick, Holly White and Georgia Downey!

Creativity, curiosity, critical thinking, problem-solving and good communication are just some of the core skills needed to be an awesome engineer. They're not gender specific and don't hinge on Year 13 maths and physics!
