ANZIIF supports the educational and professional development of its members by partnering with insurance and financial services organizations to offer a number of academic awards and scholarships.
Each scholarship applicant may also earn six CIP points for their submission, where eligible.

AON SCHOLARSHIP

AON Scholarships for Australia, New Zealand and PNG |
Run annually, the Aon Scholarship was established by Aon and ANZIIF. The award aims to strengthen links of local professionals and their international counterparts, and to develop the knowledge of the global reinsurance markets among insurance practitioners in Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea.
The scholarship winner will attend either the 2022 Aon Global Clients Reinsurance Seminar in London or the 2022 Aon Hazards Conference in Australia, subject to travel availability.
Applications are open to Australian, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea permanent residents or citizens, who are currently residing in Australia, New Zealand or Papua New Guinea and have not more than 10 years' experience working in insurance or reinsurance.
To apply for the scholarship, each applicant must write a 2,500 word essay on a topic determined by Aon and ANZIIF. This year's topic is '2050 Climate Change: Industry Impacts, Challenges and Opportunities'. This topic is carried over from 2020 as the prize was not awarded for that year.
Submissions will close on Tuesday, 24 August 2021.
