The University of Queensland (UQ) in Australian invites outstanding international students to apply for the UQ International High Achievers Scholarship, designed to recognize academic excellence and promote diversity across all study areas.
This prestigious scholarship offers a 20 percent reduction in tuition fees per semester for the entire duration of your undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program at UQ. The number of scholarships awarded each year may vary depending on available places and applicant performance.
Eligibility:
are a passport holder of Bangladesh, Bhutan, Botswana, Cambodia, Cook Islands, Egypt, Federated States of Micronesia, Fiji, French Polynesia, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Kiribati, Laos, Malaysia, Marshall Islands, Mauritius, Mongolia, Morocco, Nauru, New Caledonia, Niue, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Rwanda, Samoa, Solomon Islands, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Tonga, Tuvalu, Uganda, Vanuatu, Vietnam, Zambia, Zimbabwe or an eligible country in Europe^ or Latin America*.

To qualify, students must have applied to study full-time at UQ commencing in 2026 and received an unconditional offer (or met all conditions of a conditional offer). They must also meet UQ’s entry rank and English language requirements and achieve a competitive academic score among the pool of applicants.
How to Apply:
No separate scholarship application is required. All eligible international applicants are automatically considered when they apply for an eligible program at UQ. Successful recipients will be notified alongside their offer letter and must accept the scholarship by the specified deadline.
Scholarship Benefits:
Awardees will receive a 20 percent tuition fee reduction, applied before the tuition fee due date each semester.
